South Carolina is the #1 state for exports of passenger vehicles by value, with $10.9 billion in sales for 2024, accounting for more than 18.4% of the total U.S. market share. BMW Manufacturing in Spartanburg is the largest facility in BMW’s global production network, assembling more than 1,500 vehicles daily.

For the 10th consecutive year, South Carolina was the national leader in the export of tires, with sales reaching $1.8 billion, representing 36.5% of the total U.S. market share.
